3F had a wonderful time at the Burj Khalifa yesterday. Write an interesting fact about the Burj Khalifa in the comments to receive a table bead for your pot.
We have been adding numbers using partitioning and subtracting using a number line in Maths. We use our working wall to help us.
In 3F we are learning all about non-chronological reports because we're going to be writing our own leaflets all about Dubai. So far, we have read lot's of non-chronological reports to find out the key features. Also we've been learning about the purpose of them and how to organise them effectively.
Reading is so important and it's essential that your child is reading at least 3 times a week. Your child is given 2 books from the reading room and they choose 2 books from the library each week. The 2 books from the reading room can be changed at any time during the week. All the child needs to do is make sure that an adult signs that they have finished the books in their reading record book. Your child will not be able to change their book unless there is a signature. The 2 library books are changed weekly on a Tuesday. Thank you for your support.
